Greetings Tenno, Last week’s 1.2.1 Hotfix 5 reduced the rate of open world crashes, and today’s update addresses many hitching/stuttering causes. While we’ve made progress in fixing crashes and improving performance, we recognize there are still lingering issues. Thank you for clarifying! If you could share your error logs the next time you experience a crash, that would be extremely helpful. I have instructions in my previous message, but to simplify: go to Options > Account > Send Error Logs to download the files. If you can upload the txt zip to a Google Drive or iCloud type service, then Direct Message me the URL, that would be excellent. Thank you Tenno!

Hi Tenno, can you please provide a bit more information? What selections are incorrect? How did you lose Nidus Prime? If it helps to include pictures or videos, please do!

Thanks for the report Tenno, and apologies for the incovenience. Given the iPad Air 3rd generation's 3GB of RAM, compared to something like the Nintendo Switch 4GB, the Open World environments are likely to run 'out of memory' on that device. There should be a 'low memory warning' advising you that the Fortuna content is likely to crash on your device. Unfortunately, the crash fixes we talked about in 12.2.1 Patchnotes refer to different crashes on different apple devices. 

We continue to find ways to make the open worlds easier to play on earlier iPhone and iPad devices. 

If you are able to share your game logs shortly after getting kicked out of Fortuna, that would be helpful. Here is how to share your game logs with Digital Extremes

Thanks for the report, Tenno! We'll take a look. Mind if I ask, are you sure you are not activating Melee Mode and getting stuck in it?

We'll continue working on optimization for all devices, including older ones. But the fix in this update specifically addressed a crash type for iPhone 13 and other devices with 4GB of RAM or more.

Hi Tenno, a couple things. 

First could you tell us what device you are playing on? Second, we deployed another update today meant to tackle many crashes. Could you check out that latest update and let me know if the crashes persist?  

Finally, it would be very helpful if you could grab your game logs shortly after one of the crashes and send them to me via Forum DMs. You can save the logs, upload them to a Google Drive or iCloud, and send me the link. More detailed instructions on saving & sending error logs here:

Second, we updated the iOS version today with a fix for crashes that occur in high intensity levels/ areas. Are you still experiencing the crash after updating to hotfix 5 / Version 1.2.1. ?

I retreat of what i said about better optimization, now im crashing even in the Orbiter, I've been playing this game since February, the first update was perfect, never ever crashed, them upcoming updates i started to crash in Deimos, later in the necralisk, then in valley orbs, next updates i started to crash in duviri,but where just some times, but now i cant enter any open world, i crash after more of 15 minutes survivals,  and now i cant even stand in my orbiter helmint because i end crashing too…

Very sorry to hear this! It would be incredibly helpful if you could send us logs shortly after one of these Orbiter crashes. You can go to "Send Error Logs" in the Options > Account. You can download them, and then send a Google Drive or iCloud link to me over Forums Direct messages. More details on how to do that here!

Apologies Tenno! This change had to be temporarily cut last minute as our QA team caught an issue with it. We pulled this from the hotfix, but the patch notes had already been written. Removed now. We'll add the multi touch 'claw' support as soon as it is ready!

iOS Specific Notes: 

  • Fixed players not being able to Bullet Jump by swiping from Crouch to Jump using touch controls. 
  • Fixed being unable to equip the Hawth Diwata Heavy Blade Skin. 
  • Fixed a missing Melee touch control prompt in the Awakening Quest when the player must attack a fan blade to progress. 

Ascension Changes & Fixes: 

  • Elevator speed boost time from Boosted Ionic Charges now stack when throwing multiple at the Extraction Capsule at once (up to a max of 50 seconds). 
    • The elevator UI has also been updated to indicate the speed boosts and duration. You can now more clearly see how Ionic Charges affect the elevator.

One possible way to get us your video clip is to upload it to a Google Drive, dropbox, etc. and send the link to me via a Forums Direct Message or going to support.warframe.com with the link in your ticket. If you write to Support, just mention my name in the ticket along with the link !

Hi Tenno, could I get more information about how it's nearly impossible to pick up items manually? We are not seeing issues picking up items in Excavation or in Belly of the Beast. Could you take a video or clip the next time this happens so we could better see what you are experiencing on your end?
